蘋果延攬前EPA局長掌環保政策

蘋果公司執行長庫克表示，蘋果已延攬美國前環境保護局（EPA）局限傑克森（Lisa Jackson）督導公司的環保政策。

庫克28日在All Things Digital於南加州舉辦的會議上表示，蘋果對環保議題投入「驚人的努力」，例如降低科技產品內的有毒物質，並承諾使用再生能源，傑克森將協助主導蘋果的環保政策。

傑克森發表聲明說：「蘋果守護環境的承諾令我感到印象十分深刻，很榮幸能加入蘋果團隊。」

傑克森今年初卸下環保局局長職務，她任職期間引起諸多爭議。總統歐巴馬稱讚傑克森對環保局清理汙染、採取行動保護民眾健康有功，但共和黨領袖和其他產業團體則認為她任內的環保局規定傷害就業成長。
