歐習會承諾 外交部肯定

外交部今天指出，本次「歐習會」中，美方對台灣議題立場明確，美國白宮副國家安全顧問Ben Rhodes於美西時間8日向外界說明時表示，美國總統歐巴馬於會談中曾向中國大陸國家主席習近平明確重申，美國基於「台灣關係法」的對台一貫承諾非常明確，包括提供台灣自我防衛需求。

此外，外交部表示，歐巴馬總統再次強調，美國強烈支持過去數年來兩岸關係的進展，亦盼此一進展在雙方均可接受的方式下持續進行。對於美方此項說明，我政府表示肯定之意。

外交部指出，本次「歐習會」相關情形及各項發展，迄今均與外交部瞭解掌握的範圍相符，外交部專案小組仍將續密切觀察後續發展。
