「遠通綁架民眾」　不用eTag不退OBU錢

國道計程收費後，將全面使用採微波系統感應的電子標籤eTag感應扣款，目前仍在使用的43萬台舊款車上機OBU（On Board Unit）將不能使用，若用戶沒在9月前轉為eTag用戶，當初以680元到1190元不等價格購機的用戶將無法退費，不願轉用eTag的OBU用戶萬先生痛批：「政府朝令夕改、還要夥同遠通綁架民眾轉用eTag，太離譜。」

遠通電收表示，OBU不退現金，僅能轉為eTag儲值金，主要是為了鼓勵使用電子收費和節能減碳。
