菲律賓政府27日說，4月的預算盈餘擴增為368億披索（8.85億美元），主因是稅收增加超過為提振經濟成長而以雙位數率成長的支出。

財政部說，4月的稅收比去年同期激增24%至1,900.1億披索，支出則增加25%至532.1億披索。去年4月的預算盈餘為310.2億披索。

今年1至4月的預算赤字達296.8億披索，高於去年同期的赤字289億披索，主因是政府第1季增加支出以提振經濟。

1至4月的稅收增加7.8%至5,543.4億披索，支出則增加13%至5,840.1億披索。
