泰國財長籲央行周三降息至少2碼

泰國財政部長納拉農（Kittiratt Na-Ranong）27日呼籲，泰國央行本周三（29日）舉行貨幣決策會議時，應該調降基準利率至少0.5個百分點。

納拉農在內閣會議結束後對記者表示，如果央行屆時決定按兵不動，或只降息1碼（0.25個百分點），就顯示央行對現況漠不關心。他呼籲央行認真看待降息的必要性。

上周泰國公布第1季國內生產毛額（GDP）比去年同期成長5.3%，低於預期，加重央行降息的壓力。

大多數經濟學家預期，泰國央行29日可望至少降息1碼至2.5%，以提振經濟成長。
