民進黨立委陳唐山及民進黨台南市黨部主委蔡旺詮近日發動連署，打算在月底全代會提案，要求恢復前總統陳水扁的黨籍。民進黨主席蘇貞昌今天表示，黨員幹部提出各方面的建議他都表示尊重，也尊重全代會大家的公決。

他並說，當初陳前總統的司法案件在審理過程中，就可看到很多司法不公正之處，現在陳前總統身體狀況不佳，民進黨已再三要求馬總統讓扁保外就醫，這是多數國人的期盼，也是陳前總統重要的醫療人權。前副總統呂秀蓮則說，理念上支持讓陳水扁回到民進黨。
