面對現實！南韓三星(Samsung)電子是全球最先研發出5G傳送數據核心技術的公司。

和4G LTE(LongTermEvolution)的75Mbps傳送速度相比，5G要快上數百倍，下載1部高清電影只需1秒鐘。

三星電子計劃在2020年實現這項技術的商用化，全面研發包括此技術在內的5G行動通訊核心技術。據悉，中國為研發第5代行動通訊技術，也已由政府主導成立「IMT-2020」（5G）推進組，歐盟也決定要以2020年實現5G服務商用化為目標，投資5000萬歐元等。
