台菲漁業糾紛，也引發台菲兩國網民互相攻擊對方政府網站，台灣觀光學院校長暨東華大學資工系教授張瑞雄指出，雖然提供網路服務的業者和網站防火牆，可以過濾可能發動攻擊來源的ＩＰ，但一定也會阻擋某些正常使用者，造成困擾。網路攻擊一旦擴及商業網站，勢必造成嚴重損失，也會衍生法律問題，不得不慎。
