史丹佛研究：稀釋漂白水　可反轉皮膚老化

【李寧怡／綜合外電報導】漂白水是家庭必備的清潔用品，史丹佛大學醫學院的最新研究發現，這種平價的家用品，竟然還有治療皮膚發炎與老化的功能。
 
美國《哈芬登郵報》報導，漂白水過去就被證實可治療濕疹，而史丹佛大學醫學院的亞裔皮膚科學者湯瑪斯梁（Thomas Leung）所做的老鼠實驗顯示，用濃度0.005%的稀釋漂白水，可抑制NF-kB細胞的基因表現，反轉皮膚發炎與老化的現象。未來若人體實驗證實有相同功效，可望幫助因化療而產生嚴重皮膚炎的癌症患者。這類皮膚炎有如被太陽曬傷，讓一種讓病患痛苦不堪的副作用。
 
湯瑪斯梁更發現，將稀釋漂白水用於年紀較大的老鼠，甚至有回春之效，「我們發現若讓老鼠泡在稀釋漂白水中，抑制NF-kB細胞活動，牠們的皮膚就會看起來更年輕，從蒼老脆弱變得比較厚，皮膚會再生。」不過回春效果相當短暫，若停止用漂白水泡澡，皮膚又會恢復原狀。
