小提琴家陳美「跨界演出」參加冬奧滑雪賽

35歲知名小提琴家陳美（Vanessa Mae）將「跨界演出」，代表泰國參加下月7日在俄羅斯索契舉行的冬季奧運障礙滑雪比賽。
 
美國有線電視新聞網（CNN）報導，中泰混血的陳美從小就是滑雪迷，且參加過滑雪比賽。她上周末參加障礙滑雪賽的國手選拔，以勉強及格的成績通過考驗，將以泰國父親的姓氏「瓦納闊恩」（Vanessa Vanakorn），代表泰國參賽。
 
冬奧規定，任何未擁有排名世界前500名滑雪選手的國家，可以派出一名男性與一名女性選手參賽，但必須先通過次級的參賽門檻。（林奐成／綜合外電報導）
