真「難死」　男斷頸心臟病罹睾丸癌依然存活

25歲英國男子霍克斯利(Matthew Hawksley)是個名符其實的大命男，年紀輕輕已經歷過斷頸、心臟病發、感染惡菌、罹癌等、前後8次面臨生死關頭，但每次都能逢凶化吉。

霍克斯利前年6月在愛爾蘭旅遊期間去跳水，沒想到跳到水深僅1公尺處，他直接撞上水底尖石，第五節頸椎骨碎裂，肺部入水又導致心臟病發。霍克斯利昏迷5周後蘇醒，但他留醫期間先後又感染了抗藥性金黃葡萄球菌和肺炎，但他成功將病魔一再擊敗。更神奇是，他椎骨嚴重受損，本該全身癱瘓，但臥床休養5個月，就重新站起來。

然而出院後不久，他又驗出罹患了睾丸癌，但還是擊退了癌魔康復。

當燒焊工的他從未沮喪消沉：「我沒有遇過比我更倒楣的人，但我大概也是全英國最幸運的人。」愛運動的他，正準備參加三項鐵人賽，為癌症和脊椎受傷病人籌款。
