慶祝移民節　高市府辦變妝踩街

【涂建豐／高雄報導】為歡慶102年移民節，高雄市政府與移民署今日共同舉辦變妝踩街才藝展演，高雄市長陳菊表示，高雄是一個友善包容的城市，接納多元族群，欣賞異國文化是市府施政的重要方針，盼社會多給予新移民更多疼惜與鼓勵，讓他們感受到高雄的愛與溫暖。
 
陳菊表示，本市目前約有4萬4千位新移民，其來自泰國、印尼、越南及中國大陸等地，市府十分關心新移民的適應問題和孩童教育問題，盼社會多給予新移民家庭更多體諒與包容，讓居住於高雄的每位市民受到平等尊嚴的對待。
 
民政局指出，往後移民節慶祝活動將移師各區舉辦，除了使活動更加活潑多元，也能兼顧到各區新移民不同的民俗風情，今日於岡山區邀請了300位新移民穿著特色服裝參加踩街才藝展演，並陸續於12月8日、12月14日於鳳山區、左營區舉辦新移民心得分享及異國美食品嚐等活動，歡迎民眾踴躍參加。
