退休站長 打造蒸汽機車頭

台鐵退休站長林松雄，退休後憑著自己的鐵工技藝，打造了一列仿真縮小版的「BK10型」蒸汽機車頭，還可以3.5公里時速載運700公斤重「乘客」。

曾是鐵工師傅的林松雄，因為對鐵道與蒸汽火車的痴迷，退休後花了10年的時間，以手工打造一系列的蒸汽火車模型。

林松雄又花了1年5個月時間，終於成功打造出按原尺寸比例縮小8.4倍的BK10型蒸汽火車。

林松雄說，BK10型膠式汽閥機車，是20世紀初的鐵路傳奇，台灣有一部編號BK24的車頭被完整保存在成功大學校園，此型號車頭在民國40年之前，曾風光馳騁在台鐵西部幹線，後來因老舊才轉至淡水支線。

除了車頭與載運煤炭、木材的車斗外，他還加掛3節車廂，同時製作50公尺長的鐵軌，只要在空地鋪上鐵軌，藉著燒煤炭煮水後產生的蒸汽做為動力，即可帶動火車緩緩前進，載重達700公斤，可一次搭載約10個大人。
