武田藥品取消糖尿病藥計畫 股價跌逾5%

亞洲最大製藥業者日本武田藥品宣布取消一項糖尿病藥開發計畫，原因是該藥表現的療效未能超過其風險；武田股價應聲大跌。

武田27日在給東京證交所的聲明中說，在發現TAK-875與肝傷害的關聯後，已終止該藥品的開發。總部設在大阪的武田說，這項決定是在與三個評估該藥安全實驗結果的獨立小組諮詢後作成的。

這使得武田取代其既有糖尿病Actos的開發計畫減少一個，與較便宜的學名藥競爭的保護更加薄弱；Actos曾是世界最暢銷的糖尿病藥。

武田說：「公司已作出結論，整體而言，以fasiglifam（TAK-875）治療病人的利益未超過潛在的風險。武田正與實驗調查者和地方主管當局合作，確保參與實驗的病患改用適合的治療。」

武田股價27日在東京證交所盤中一度重挫8.2%，終場以下跌5.2%收每股4,835日圓；該股今年來仍漲25.4%。
