創意與圓星合攻USB3.0

【經濟日報記者簡永祥／30日電】創意電子（3443）今日與圓星科技共同宣布合攻USB3.0高傳輸介面，結合雙方在USB3.0的矽智財（IP）優勢，提供USB3.0 IP解決方案，並切入65奈米以下製程，涵蓋28奈米先進製程。

創意研發副總經理梁景哲表示，這次這次與圓星的合作案，是結合雙方的優勢，合作推出USB3.0 IP，主要是結合雙方在週邊裝置控制器與實體層的IP優勢。

創意和圓星共同表示，這次合作的矽智財解決方案已於2013年11月通過USB-IF協會相容性認證，客戶無需再擔憂實體層與週邊裝置控制器間的相容性，可聚焦於其核心技術與產品開發，節省設計時間和開發成本，而且涵蓋包括65奈米/55奈米、40奈米和28奈米等製程技術。

圓星業務副總經理鍾玫燕表示，這是圓星與創意在高速傳輸介面方案一連串合作的開始，將協助客戶透過使用雙方的IP縮短設計時間和降低開發成本。
