妥瑞氏兒獲新芽獎　努力舞出新生命

【曾雪蒨／台中報導】今年20歲體育大學舞蹈學系林廷維，從小脖子手腳總是動不停，家人以為是過動兒，帶他就醫後才發現罹患妥瑞氏症，但是他克服先天會不自覺扭動肢體等疾病症狀，投入最愛的舞蹈世界，從自學街舞到進入校園接受專業舞蹈教育，努力不懈讓他不但舞跳的好，連成績都棒，去年獲得慈濟基金會新芽獎獎學金「特殊才藝類獎」後、今年再度以平均學業成績八十分以上獲頒「學習領域獎」，相當難得。
 
今天他在記者會上不但秀出今年獲得的新芽獎獎狀，還現場秀一段現代舞，他鼓勵其他病友克服各種身體障礙，找出人生方向，努力向前，「我能，你也一定可以！」
