酒駕死亡減幅　高雄冠全國

【湯寶隆／高雄報導】根據警政署的統計，去年酒駕死亡人數，高市為26人，與前年66人相比，減少40人，減幅超過60％，是全國減幅最多的城市。總統馬英九今天到警政署頒「防制酒駕工作績效卓著｣獎給高雄市警局長黃茂穗。
 
黃茂穗說，除了警方積極取締外，市府相關單位也積極配合做好交通警示標誌、標線的設置。黃說，他只是代表受獎，不敢居功，功勞是陳菊市長領導的市府團隊。
 
高市警方統計，去年取締酒駕專案勤務就高達168次，動員警力近15萬人，查獲近1萬5千件，其中移送法辦超過8千6百件。黃茂穗說，生命是無價的，「零發生｣是高市警局的終極目標。
