根據中央氣象局發布的最新海上陸上警報資料，強颱「天兔」今天(二十一號)下午三點的位置在鵝鑾鼻南南西方約一百二十公里的海面上，以每小時十九公里的速度向西北西轉西移動，雖然全台各地風雨仍持續，但氣象局預估颱風強度未來會持續減弱，台中、彰化都脫離警戒範圍。預報員陳怡良表示，今天晚上會逐漸遠離。

至於雨量的部分，宜蘭縣古魯的降雨量目前居全台最多，高達四百六十二號米，其次則是屏東線和台東縣，都高達三百毫米以上，花蓮、台東、高雄也都達到兩百毫米，適逢是大潮期間，氣象局提醒住在沿海低窪地區的民眾要嚴防淹水及海水倒灌。

另外，氣象局也在下午三點半時更新，今年第二十號颱風「帕布」已經在稍早由熱帶性低氣壓發展成颱風，預估往東北方移動，對台灣不會有影響。
