半天內需護照且已開票 可在機場辦

副總統吳敦義外孫在機場辦護照引發特權爭議，外交部今天表示，機場辦護照屬急難救助服務，若國人因疏忽未檢查護照效期或從未申辦護照，急需12小時內出國且有已開票的班機訂位記錄，領務局桃園機場辦事處會盡力協助核發。

不過外交部也強調，限於桃園機場辦事處的人力及設備，能提供的協助有限。護照製作需時，若同一時間申請人數過多，恐無法配合民眾原訂登機時間。

外交部提醒民眾，出國前仍應先檢查護照效期是否6個月以上；若效期不足，應盡早至外交部領事事務局、外交部中部、南部、東部及雲嘉南4個辦事處申請換發，以免影響個人權益。
