在美國相當流行的圖片剪貼簿網站Pinterest成立廣告部門，準備開始從4,650萬用戶發掘廣告商機。

金融時報報導，Pinterest將效法臉書（Facebook）和推特（Twitter）登廣告的概念，要向有意在用戶剪貼簿上置入廣告的商家收費，但不採用看板廣告的作法。

Pinterest已成為矽谷的明日之星，成功籌資2億美元後，已擁25億美元的資金。據ComScore統計，這個網站到7月為止用戶已達4,600萬人。

分析師預料，Pinterest最初將吸引以女性為訴求的廣告主，像是流行、飲食、家居設計。
