澳洲豐田墨爾本工廠將裁減100職位

【大紀元2013年10月15日訊】（大紀元記者陳光澳洲悉尼編譯報導）澳洲豐田汽車公司（Toyota Australia）將在其墨爾本製造工廠削減100個職位。

據澳新社消息，該汽車製造商表示，將尋求工人自願離職，因為從12月份開始，該廠每日產量將從470輛降至430輛。

公司執行副總裁巴特納（Dave Buttner）稱，由於中東的出口量下降，這個決定是必要的。

他還表示，這個決定正值豐田尋求削減澳洲生產車輛的成本之際。公司希望在2018年將每輛汽車的成本降低3800澳元，以維持本地製造業務的生存。「我們必須繼續努力，以減少整體成本。這是我們保持持續發展的關鍵。」巴特納在週二說。
