留不留貝爾川 紅雀頭疼

如果沒有超級菜鳥華卡(Michael Wacha)的神奇演出，紅雀應無法挺進世界大賽。同樣的，若是沒有老將貝爾川(Carlos Beltran)穩健的打擊貢獻，紅雀應也是與世界大賽沒有交集。

但對紅雀來說，華卡絕對是「未來」，現年36歲的老貝可就不一定。

該是論功行賞的這個時間點，紅雀面臨一個大難題，是否該留下世界大賽結束即成為自由球員的貝爾川？

貝爾川在世界大賽打完時表示，紅雀擁有美好的未來，他很樂意留下，但他也知道，一切都要看紅雀高層的想法，要視紅雀的未來計畫是否包含自己。

事實上有美國媒體不看好這位在季後賽替紅雀打下15分打點的資深好手，明年還會穿著紅雀球衣打球，FOX體育網評估，紅雀應不會投資長約在這位老將身上，較有可能選擇開出1年1410萬美元的合格報價，看貝爾川是否接受，如果貝爾川決定投身自由球員市場，紅雀可以獲得一個選秀權作為補償。
