新加坡出現今年首宗登革熱致死個案

新加坡一名21歲男子感染登革熱死亡，成為當地今年首宗死亡個案。

死者入院前出現發燒和疲倦的病徵，延至周三(29日)不治。當局事後已展開大型滅蚊運動。新加坡今年的登革熱疫情嚴重，多達8001起，遠高於去年和前年同期的數據。新加坡分別於2005年和2007年爆發登革熱，共造成約23000人感染，另有25人死 亡。
