【羅惠齡／新北報導】台日經典棒球對抗賽首戰今晚6點半於新莊開打，台灣隊在1局下由開路先鋒陳品捷率先敲安，2出局後，4棒陳俊秀獲保送，5棒蔣智賢適時敲出右外野安打，攻下比賽第1分，2局結束，台灣隊1比0領先日本隊。
 
台灣隊先發投手王躍霖前兩局表現出色，未被日隊擊出安打，讓對手6上6下，飆出3次三振，最快球速149公里；日隊先發投手、今年中央聯盟勝投王小川泰弘，表現不遑多讓，首局被連打兩安丟1分，2局下穩住陣腳，面對台灣隊張進德、李杜軒及郭阜林，連續送出3次三振。
