臉書回劍橋老家設立工程中心

臉書（Facebook）將在麻州劍橋市設立據點，代表在創立九年後，該公司將重返「老家」。

臉書7日宣布，將在劍橋市的Kendall Square設立新工程中心，該地離臉書出生地哈佛大學校區僅數哩。Kendall Square工程中心將是臉書第五座工程中心，前四座分別位於門羅公園市（Menlo Park）、西雅圖、紐約及倫敦。

參與臉書動態時報功能研發的架構工程師邁克（Ryan Mack），將擔任新工程中心主管。他在臉書網站的聲明中說：「在許多方面波士頓都是最佳選擇。當地科技社群具世界級水準，包括令人驚奇的學術機構、充滿活力的新創公司生態系，以及一群國際企業派駐的團隊。我們在這裡設立新家感到非常興奮，並希望能夠幫助當地社群持續興盛下去。」
