美法院繼續審理惠普被控會計詐欺案

美國地方法院裁定，惠普公司（HP）與執行長惠特曼必須面對投資人提出的證券詐欺官司。投資人指控惠普併購Autonomy案有誤導投資人之嫌。

美國舊金山地方法官布雷爾26日裁定，投資人可以繼續進行依據惠特曼去年5月與6月發表Autonomy案言論的訴訟官司。他在判決書說，「投資人指控惠特曼隱匿正在處理的重要資訊，即為她考慮以會計詐欺來粉飾Autonomy的欠佳表現。」

這名法官也認為，惠普在2012年9月的季度獲利報告指出，Autonomy的「公允價值接近帳面價值」，也有誤導投資人之嫌。

不過，布雷爾駁回投資人對惠普前執行長亞帕瑟可（Leo Apotheker）、Autonomy前執行長林區（Mike Lynch）與其他三名主管的訴訟，表示投資人的指控未能顯示這幾名主管是否知情或蓄意誤導投資人。

法院26日並未指出這樁官司案的法律依據，僅表示投資人的律師是否可以處理此案。
