台北、札幌圓山動物園交流　互贈動物

【蔡永彬／台北報導】台北市立動物園在今年10月31日與日本北海道札幌市的圓山動物園締結友好協定。北市動物園與圓山動物園共同宣布，圓山將送3隻揚子鱷、8隻迷彩箭毒蛙及20隻黃帶箭毒蛙到台北，我方將回贈1隻雄性的黑猩猩到日本。

北市動物園表示，他們近年在靈長類與兩棲爬蟲類動物的保育繁殖研究上投注許多心力；圓山則在兩棲爬蟲類的繁殖研究上，尤其是箭毒蛙與瀕臨絕種的揚子鱷有很成功的繁殖，因此選定這4種動物交流。 除了交流外，圓山將在明年送給北市1組「北極熊綠雕」當紀念，未來將設置在動物園溫帶區熊科動物展場。
