工廠排污入河　美30萬人沒水喝

【陳怡妏／綜合外電報導】美國西維吉尼亞州的自來水受到化學工廠的化學物質外洩污染，30萬居民連續4天無水可用，大部分餐廳和旅館也被迫歇業，居民只能天天吃洋芋片果腹。

西維吉尼亞州的自來水上周四發出怪味，追查發現是自來水廠上游的自由工業「4-甲基環己烷甲醇」（4-methylcyclohexane methanol）外洩，估至少2.8萬公升帶有甘草味的化學物質流入河裡，害人產生噁心、頭暈、嘔吐、起紅疹等症狀。

自由工業執行長上周五開記者會道歉，卻只顧著在記者會上牛飲瓶裝水解渴，還企圖以太累為由不讓記者提問，當場被憤怒的記者叫回來，毫無誠意可言。
