台4科學家　當選發展中世界科學院院士

【綜合報導】第24屆發展中世界科學院(The World Academy of Science，TWAS)大會，目前正在阿根廷首都布宜諾斯艾利斯舉行，大會首日(1日)就選出52名新院士，其中包括4名台灣科學家，與9名中國科學家。

4位入選的台灣科學家分別是中央研究院生化所所長鄭淑珍、中研院細胞與個體生物學研究所所長謝道時、中研院環境變遷研究中心特聘研究員劉紹臣和中研院物理研究所特聘研究員李世昌。

發展中世界科學院成立於1983年，總部設在義大利，是一個非政府、非政治和非營利性的國際科學組織。
