菅直人周四抵台　周五將參觀核一廠

【王玉樹／台北報導】日本前首相菅直人本周四將來台訪問，原傳出他想參觀核電廠，但被台電拒絕，今台電主管證實，經日本交流協會代為申請，基於外交禮節，已安排菅直人在本周五參觀核一廠。

本周五晚間，菅直人還將到台北市自由廣場參加「反核四五六活動」，並現場發表演講，本周六則將在北市松菸文創園區發表演講。菅直人曾公開表示，最安全的核電廠，就是完全不要建核電廠；核電廠這種科技，是人類無法與之共同存在於地球上的科技，全球沒有一個國家能夠安全地處理核廢料。
