【王文傑／花蓮報導】東海大學一名大三胡姓學生，上月30日從花蓮東華大學研討會結束後，騎車沿中橫公路返回台中卻無故失聯，救難人員今下午在發現胡男機車的碧綠神木附近（台8線124K）約80米深山谷尋獲遺體，發現胡男遭獵具鋼索勒斷咽喉，臉部發黑、死狀悽慘。

警方初步研判，懷疑胡男在狹小山路間失足墜谷，翻滾間又遭獵具鋼索套頸致死。死者面部發黑，家屬從身形外觀、證件及手機確認死者是27歲的胡姓男子，死者父 親見遺體沉默不語，警方鑑識後將遺體運回東勢老家，後續待檢警相驗釐清死因。警方表示，陳屍地點就在海拔2150公尺碧綠神木下方80米山谷，周邊都是原 始叢林罕有人跡，附近小路及獸徑偶有當地住民狩獵之用，至於胡男滾下山坡的原因仍待檢警調查釐清。
