神秘平底船 原來是Google的展示場

在各界熱烈討論一周後，Google在舊金山灣及緬因州平底貨船上的神秘建物用途或許終於揭曉：該公司正在建造能夠拆卸重組的展示場，僅有受邀者能夠進入，主要用於展示Google X實驗室推出的計畫及產品。

根據CBS電視台舊金山分部KPIX的報告，Google的展示場計畫已進行一年多。Google計劃讓展示場能夠移動，並在情況需要時拆解重組。此外，該公司希望展示場能夠水陸雙棲，今天飄浮在水面，隔天又在滑雪坡道上出現。KPIX引述曾登上神秘船隻的來源表示，展示場會有三層樓的展示空間，甲板則將用於舉辦派對。
