【張翠蘭╱綜合外電報導】印度民生必需的洋蔥最近價格飆漲，連帶使得運送的卡車司機遭殃。北方省上月初發生運送洋蔥的卡車遭搶劫，導致司機和清潔工遇害。警方今天宣布破案。

新德里洋蔥價前1週漲幅達25%，較4個月前上漲1倍。因此過去兩個月附近地區道路上共發生8起類似的打劫案。上月7日，一名卡車司機連同一名清潔工，從南印坦米爾那都省運送洋蔥，行經北方省薩他利亞地區1條高速公路時遭人打劫。

分乘兩部車的10名歹徒，攔下卡車後謊稱來自省農產品行銷局，要依法檢驗車上貨物，但他們卻將司機和清潔工餵食麻醉藥後，將兩人射殺再棄屍。警方在案發後不久逮捕兩人，昨晚又逮捕3人。落網嫌犯坦承，兩個月前也曾以相同手法謀殺另1部卡車的司機，不過當時讓隨車的清潔工逃離。
