婦人自然產6.1公斤女嬰　刷新德國紀錄

【綜合報導】德國萊比錫大學附設醫院，上周五一名產婦以自然產方式，順利產下一名重達6.1公斤的女嬰賈斯琳(Jasleen)，創下德國國內最重新生兒的紀錄。

賈斯琳體重6.1公斤，身長也有57公分，遠比正常新生兒要大。她的媽媽在懷孕後期，被醫生診斷出罹患了「妊娠糖尿病」(Gestational diabetes)，若控制不好，很容易產下體型較大、甚至可能畸形的嬰兒。目前母女均安。

《金氏世界紀錄》中，最重的新生兒，是1879年出生在加拿大的貝茲(Anna Bates)，一出生就重達23磅12盎司(約10.74公斤)，但在出生後11小時便即夭折。
