花蓮出現第16起餘震　深度僅7.7公里

【張勵德／台北報導】昨晚花蓮瑞穗強震發生後，花蓮地區有感餘震不斷發生，且地震深度越來越淺，在今天凌晨0時5分花蓮萬榮鄉又出現規模4.4有感地震，深度僅7.7公里。各地最大震度花蓮西林4級，花蓮市、南投合歡山、嘉義阿里山、台東長濱1級。
 
截至目前為止，花蓮地區已經出現16起的有感餘震，由於地震深度淺，接近震央附近的震度很大。中央氣象局提醒民眾，後續可能還會出現規模5以上的餘震，要特別留意。
