英9月零售銷售上升

英國國家統計局(ONS)今天(17日)在聲明中指出，英國9月的零售銷售，與8月水準相比上升0.6%，該局表示，因為受到消費者對傢俱強勁需求的帶動，使得9月零售銷售出現佳績。

道瓊新聞社訪問分析師的預測中值，指英國9月零售銷售上升0.3%，如今英國國家統計局公布的數據，比這項預測中值高出了1倍。

零售銷售是帶動經濟成長的重要動力之一，並且是偵測消費者信心的重要指標，而且若是跟去年同期相比，英國9月的零售銷售成長達2.2%；分析師對此的預測為1.9%。

花旗銀行分析師桑德斯(Michael Saunders)說：「零售銷售成長的強勁趨勢，與房屋銷售活動明顯增強，以及最近幾個月消費者信心增加都息息相關。」

不過，他指出，雖然實質薪資持續成長，但就業成長卻增加有限。
