世衛組織：戶外空汙癌症元凶

法新社報導，世界衛生組織17日說，戶外空氣汙染是人類罹癌的首要原因。隸屬世衛組織的國際癌症研究署官員史崔夫說：「我們現在知道，戶外空汙不只是整體健康的一大風險因素，也是癌症死亡案例的首要環境成因。」

該署指出，雖然不同地點的空汙成分不同，人們暴露在受汙空氣的時間長短也不一樣，但無論在全球哪個區域，戶外空汙都是癌症首要成因。
