英特爾網路電視事業 傳欲5億美元脫手

彭博資訊報導，英特爾（Intel）公司開價5億美元，打算出售至今仍未正式上路的網路電視事業，且希望交易今年底前能完成。

彭博引述匿名人士的話報導，競標者之一威瑞森通訊（Verizon Communications）已和內容供應商洽談電視節目串流服務事宜。

英特爾拒絕對報導發表評論。

消息人士上周透露，這個取名為OnCue的網路電視計畫今年2月推出後，一直無法順利運作。新任執行長柯森尼奇（Brian Krzanich）認定公司無法承擔這些成本與非核心業務。

熟悉內情的業界人士表示，雖然英特爾和幾個主要節目供應商的談判接近塵埃落定，英特爾可能得在網路電視營運上軌道前，先支出數億美元費用。
